Board-certified internist and rheumatologist with 10 years of experience caring for patients with autoimmune and rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and vasculitis. Trained at UNAM; completed his internal-medicine specialty at the Pemex Central South High Specialty Hospital, within the CONACYT-recognized academic-excellence postgraduate program, followed by his rheumatology subspecialty at the General Hospital of Mexico "Dr. Eduardo Liceaga", where he headed the resident team.
